If you are unable to successfully complete the self-installation, access the online self help troubleshooter or contact the DSL helpdesk at 10210. If you are still unsuccessful with the SIO, you can opt for a Telkom technician to install the service. However, you will be liable to pay the R705.20 (VAT inclusive) installation fee if a Telkom technician or Telkom appointed contractor is required to complete the installation. An installation is deemed complete once your modem is installed and the service is demonstrated to be in working order on the technician's test equipment. Telkom technicians are not required to install your personal computer, but will demonstrate that the service is working on a test laptop or similar equipment. |
